Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly is a "Joint Business" in the ARE Trüst model?
It is a strategic partnership agreement (a joint venture) in which you participate with us across the emerald value chain. Depending on the partnership model, you may contribute capital to produce new lots or acquire assets from our inventory. In every case, ARE manages the operation from start to finish and the returns are shared transparently, exactly as agreed.
How is the authenticity and value of the emeralds guaranteed?
Every high-value emerald is certified by internationally renowned gemological laboratories. This independent certificate not only guarantees its authenticity and quality, it is the document that establishes its market value, providing an objective and secure basis for the entire operation.
How is my participation in a joint business backed?
Your participation is backed at all times by a physical, tangible asset: the emeralds themselves. Depending on the agreement, the assets may be held in your direct custody or stored in certified high-security vaults. The contract clearly sets out the guarantees and the protection of your capital.
Can I take part in a Joint Business if I live outside Colombia?
Yes. Our model is specifically designed for global participants. We handle all the logistical, legal, monetization and export complexity, allowing you to take part from anywhere in the world with complete security and the backing of an expert team on the ground.
How long is a business cycle?
Our standard business cycle is designed to run over a six (6) month period. This timeframe lets us efficiently manage the acquisition, transformation, export and sale of the lot to generate the greatest possible value for the participants in the business.
